Five Minute Friday: Visit

College. That is where I met Crystal. We have been friends ever since. There have been months and years that have stretched between talking but the friendship has remained. This past year was the first in many we were able to sit and talk face to face. These new pictures that are now splashed around my blog and the interweb, she snapped them for me. Crystal is an amazing photographer. Her ability to capture the moment by telling the whole story with only one frame is pure beauty. She is one of my go-to people for inspiration and creativity.

This year, maybe even this month, Crystal will be boarding a plane to {finally} go meet her sweet newest squisher. She and her husband, Mike, are adopting a little girl from China. Clara. Her photo cannot be shared virtually until after the adoption is finalized so you will have to take my word that she is adorable! Crystal shared their Referral Story a few months ago along with a photo of her cutie little piggies!

These 10 perfect toes are so close to being held by her parents. Crystal and Mike are so close to having complete funding for her adoption. I told Crystal, "finances should never be a concern when welcoming a baby." I am now donating all the proceeds from my RAINBOW Bits o' Love buntings to Clara's adoption fund. If you want to support handmade and adoption head over to my shop. Help bring Clara home to her forever family and bring some extra cute love into your own home!

  1. Great having friends like your Crystal. I have a few and it seems we don't miss a beat after years of not talking/seeing each other-other than those annual Christmas letters. Tonight was my first Five minute Friday and I'm feeling rather clumsy at this blogging thing as I am a Newbie. Awesome the support you're showing for this precious new "Squisher" being welcomed into her forever family.

  2. Those ate some of the cutest little piggies I have ever seen. I pray for Crystal as she prepares to bring that sweet little squisher home. Thank you for sharing her story.

PS so good to see you back at FMF.
