#projectlove Chocolate Style

“Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue, but with actions and truth.”
1 John 3:18 NLT

Do you ever get an idea stuck in your head that will not leave? Something you MUST do before being at peace again? It consumes your thoughts. There is nothing else in the world.

It happens to me all. the. time.

I have told you a little about the book club bench that I sit on with my bench girls. Because of the kinship we were building I was paying more attention to things these girls were posting on Facebook. Amy started posting about (in)RL. She posted about this conference last year but I didn't check any of the links. I guess it wasn't God's time for us to be that close. He was still preparing both of us for our dreams before they became intertwined. This year, however, I followed that link. I signed up, I said yes.

God placed on my heart to make each of these girls a necklace. And then to buy them a scarf. And also add some chocolate to the boxes of love that became #projectlove. You know I can’t just toss chocolate into a box. I need to make it beautiful! Once again I was inspired by Amy from Inspiration Ave. for these heart pouches.

I used a 12 x 6 inch paper. Cutting out four scallops along one 12 inch side. I folded the paper to make a 6 inch square with the scallops kissing to make a heart. Using my sewing machine I straight stitched along the scallops and down one side. Stuff full of your favorite chocolates. I used my favorite Lindt chocolates! fold the open end the opposite way and zip closed with your sewing machine. Easy peasy and gorgeous packaging!

What #projectlove ideas do you have? I have a big one in the developing stages. I can't wait to share with you all the amazing details!
