Random Thoughts of the Day

I got an email from a friend last night saying her husband got the job he had applied for, in IOWA! Is Iowa a corn state?! I'm going to need to look into this one. I am so excited for them but going to miss her SO much. When she told me about the job last month it got B and I talking about if we ever moved out of state. The conversation didn't last very long after looking at the weather in one state and seeing that his company in the other state isn't nonprofit. It is always fun to dream about great adventures like that, I just can't wrap my mind around her moving.

Gypsy is such a second born. She is a ham through and through. Today we went to our homeschool co-op and Monster fell asleep on the way home. Not fun. The drive is 0.3 miles. Yep, around. the. block. I pulled in the driveway and took our bags in the house and came back to get the children. Bookworm says, "Mumma, Gypsy is asleep." What?! You have got to be kidding me. I jump in the van to see if I can wake her up before she gets into a deep sleep. I look at her face, oh yeah she is out, "Gypsy?" Then she couldn't hold it together any more, she got a little smirk on her face and started giggling. Both girls started laughing. Yes my 2 1/2-year-old was fake sleeping just to get a laugh.

I told you these were random thoughts.

I am in L.O.V.E.
I was reading my Google Reader this morning and this was there waiting for me! I have been going crazy trying to get my hands to stop cracking and give them a little moisture during this winter. The past few nights I have slept with Aquaphor and cotton gloves. If you know me you will know that this was hard to do, it bothers me when B wears socks to bed. I wear flip flops until the snow can cover my feet. Then I pull out my Birkenstock's. although yesterday I was out in flip flops during our blizzard *enter sneaky smile here*

I had to try the Sugar Scrub, today. It is bliss. I am off to wash my hands again.
