It happened.

I wish I could go take a picture for you, but I can't.

I don't want either of them to wake up.

I am still in shock.

Gypsy slept in her toddler bed

A few weeks ago we put the bed in Bookworm's room. We went through the whole thing with her saying that it is now their room and Gypsy would sleep in there all the time.

Well the first night Gypsy went and climbed into the bed and laid down. AWESOME!

Then she got out of bed. BAD!

This went on for a while until we put her in the pack-n-play because I really didn't want to put her back in the nursery.

It was well after 11:00 PM before they were both asleep that night. Over three hours of goofing around and laughing and getting out of bed (for Bookworm, Brad and I).

We have been trying different things the past few weeks to get them to both sleep in the same room. The thing that works best is having Gypsy go to sleep first (since she will fall asleep within minutes if she is alone) and then putting Bookworm to bed a little bit later (since she will go to sleep fairly quickly if Gypsy is already sleeping).

There have been a lot of nights that Gypsy wakes up when Bookworm goes to bed and then they play and laugh for a while...

Last week we started trying Gypsy in the bed again and after getting out two or three times we would put her in the pack-n-play. Last week I told her she needed to get used to the bed because I was going to need the pack-n-play for the baby soon!

Last night she didn't get out of bed at all. When Bookworm went to bed Gypsy did wake up, but neither of them talked or played they both went to sleep.

All night long Gypsy stayed in bed. (One night she woke up at 1:00 AM and got up to play! Brad went to lay her back down and before he was back in bed she was playing again so she went in the pack-n-play at that point!)

They are both still sleeping. In the same room. In beds. The pack-n-play may be starting it's vacation til the baby arrives!

I just wish I had a picture. maybe I can slip in as they are waking up and get one...
