I Was Hit!

Well really just tagged, but "being hit" got your attention didn't it?

My friend Ruth tagged me to post seven random things about myself that you don't know. My friend Dee was tagged a few weeks ago and after reading her post I thought, "I'm so glad she didn't tag me, that would be hard!" and here I am posting a tag from Ruth.

So what seven things can I tell you about myself that you don't already know?

1. I talk to myself. I always have. I talk to myself all day long! Now that I have kids I can pass it off that I'm talking to them, but I'm really still talking to myself!

2. I always wanted to be a triplet. Most people want to be a twin, but I always wanted to be a triplet. This desire was enhanced after watching Parent Trap 3 and 4. There is a set of triplets in these two movies. (Yes I know it is weird that I have seen and still have on tape Parent Trap , Parent Trap 2, 3 and 4, but I loved those movies growing up!)

3. I eat my sandwiches crust first and then the middle. When I was little my Aunt Dawn told me that the crust would make my teeth whiter and so I started eating my crust all the time. I still didn't like it so I ate it first. I had a co-worker point this out once and it totally embarrassed me. I think I always get embarrassed when people notice my quirks cause they are seeing me for who I really am, a nerd!

4. I love playing games! I know some of you may know that but I really LOVE playing games. Even when they aren't that great I still love it. I think I just love spending time with people and getting to be competitive at the same time.

5. Curiosity has Killed this cat! I posted the map on this blog to show where people are reading my blog around the world (my friend Dee had one on her blog and I thought it was so cool and had to have one too!). Now that I see how many people are reading my blog I wish I knew who you were, you know who I am but I do not know all of you. I think you should all comment and let me know who you are!

6. I hate surprises. If I know something is coming it drives me crazy not knowing what is coming. For my 16th birthday my parents gave me a surprise party and I loved it because I had no idea it was coming. Every year for my birthday and Christmas I get gifts from my family and I hate the weeks leading up to those days because I don't know what is coming (plus what if I could be using it right now!). I think that is the only thing about Christmas I don't like.

7. I'm living out my childhood dream.

When I was little all I wanted to do was get married and have kids (before my parents told me I should be married before having kids, I just wanted kids!). Now I'm married to the best husband in the world and I have two amazing daughters! The other "careers" I wanted to accomplish were teaching and being a dance instructor.

When I was in elementary school and we had to dress up as what we wanted to be I always went as a teacher. I was fortunate enough to teach at some great schools over the past seven years.

I also remember standing in ballet class when I was about seven and thinking to myself (I don't usually talk to myself when other people are around), "I want to teach dance when I grow up." I was able to teach ballet and tap at three different locations for a total of four or five years. So I think I'm pretty lucky to have fulfilled my childhood dreams at such an early age!

There I did it! It was as hard as I thought it would be. So I don't have seven people to tag, but I'm co-tagging a few with Ruth. So Rebecca, Shelly, and Andrea you've been co-tagged! And Crystal and Tony I'm tagging you too!

Andi and Brad have been married since 2002. They have five squishers who keep them on their toes. She is a second generation home educator. In her spare time Andi creates and sells handmade goodies in her shop, Andi Gould Designs.

  2. That was pretty fast! You know, we've all got our little quirks (like eating the crust off our sandwiches first)! I love seeing those in people - it makes me realize I'm really paying attention to them, and I feel like I'm being let in on a little secret about them when I notice it. I look at them like endearing qualities - all part of the uniqueness that God has put into each of us!

Congrats on being able to accomplish so much in life, Andi! Wow! That's wonderful!!! You had dreams, and you made them come true! As a child, I wanted to work at a Hallmark store. Well, you know why that wouldn't be a good idea for me now! LOL

So was your Mom happy you weren't a triplet?!? Ask Alice about that one! LOL

:) Thanks for taking the challenge! I loved reading your 7!
